Overview
Artful living at its finest. The curving covered entry patio overlooks the main garden area—ideal for informal dining or just hanging out. The great room encompasses the kitchen, dining, and living room in a continuous, eye-pleasing sweep. The well-appointed kitchen mirrors the curve of the entry patio, with a spiral counter of polished beach stones. A raised bar with built-in tractor seat barstools (funky fun and surprisingly comfortable) separates the kitchen from the formal dining area, with its massive mesquite-wood table. The living room has a pair of traditional equipales sofas, plus a home entertainment system with a collection of classic DVDs.
The bedroom can be made up as a king or two twins, with a mosquito-net canopy, overhead paddle fan and air conditioning. The bathroom dazzles with traditional Mexican tiles. Both the great room and bedroom open onto the private courtyard with a distinctive Talavera fountain (the birds love it!), plush chaise lounges, and chairs.

Testimonial
"We stayed in the Main House the first week in February...
...The furnishings and eclectic collection of art and crafts are beautiful. The home itself is a work of art with an amazing variety of colors that work wonderfully together and fit perfectly in the sleepy little village of Cabo Pulmo. I kept taking photos as the morning, afternoon, and evening lit up different areas of the house. The large curving patio, full kitchen, fountain courtyard and dining and living areas made it a great place to hang out when it was too breezy for snorkeling. Diane quickly answered our questions before we arrived, and the local property manager was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Encanto and did not want to leave."
